Title: God and Bad about Social Networking

Thesis Statement: Social Networking sites can cause both beneficial and harmful effects on young adults.

Introduction:

    Social Networking can be a great tool to help us connect with family and friends that we've somehow lost touch with. It can be the one thing that help us to get to know someone better. However, can you imagine having to go to the hospital and possibly never coming out all for playing to many online games? I never really thought about these things happening until a few weeks ago. Unfortunately, it does happen.

    Facebook and Twitter can be very beneficial to many of us. Businesses even use them as a way to easily  promote their business. But, it can also harm you in a social sense as a physical sense.

    I did some research on regarding social networking and what I've found was pretty interesting. I mean don't get me wrong - I have both facebook and twitter account. I even have a gaming account too.

    Social Networking continues to be the most popular form of communication throughout the world. Although, it may be very useful to us, it can also affects us negatively. Today I will inform you about how social networking can help you, examine how it can harm you, and explore the things you can do how to protect yourself from potential hazards.

 I. Social Networking can be very useful to us in many ways.

   A. Based on my research statistics shows that about 92% of people who fall in the age of 16 above are the most active users of social networking sites.

       1. We us sites such as Facebook, Twitter, Skype, YM, and other sites to connect with our friends, relative and for us to be updated in news etc.,

       2.  We can even use Facebook timeline as visual aids to complete class projects.

       3. Many of us use google where you can search all you want to know.

   B. Some researches have been experimenting with a sites combines social networking to the academic lives of their student.

       1. Social Networking websites are helping to reduce high-school and college drop-outs

       2. Schools that use integral to build a social networking site; see a decrease in retention rates of some students.

       3. The more kids that stay in school, the less money the school spends on replacing them.

II. Social Networking can pose a serious threat on your health and social development.

   A. Prolonged usage of Social networks can cause dangerous health risks.

       1. Obesity from reduced movement of our muscles.

       2. Death by gaming from formations of blood cloths due to long periods of sitting.

       3. Poor-Eye-Sight by staying to much on computer using social networking sites.

   B. Staying online to much can lead us to psychological disorders.

       1. Social anxiety and depression caused by networking.

       2. Teens who use facebook more often show more narcissist tendencies while young adults who have a strong facebook presence show more signs of other psychological  disorders, including anti-social behaviors, aggressive  tendencies etc.,

       3. Short attention spend. Social networks can also destruct us from our work.

III. Things you can do to protect yourself from potential online hazards.

   A. Maximizes the time you spend online playing games, tweeting and etc.,
   
        1. Engaged yourself in other activities either indoors or outdoors on the days you don't have important thing to do.

        2. Get up and stretch your body every now and then. Walk around to get your blood flowing.

   B. Be careful of what you post online.

       1. Avoid putting too much personal information about yourself on social networks. The more info they find, the easier it is for them to stalk you or commit crime.

       2. Think twice before posting pictures or videos you wouldn't want your parents or some people see.

       3. Limit the pictures or videos you will post because they can easily get it and use it their other malicious articles.

IV. Conclusion

       Today, I raised your awareness of the good and bad about social networks. Hopefully you feel more informed about the effects it has on us as a students and better understand how it can help you, how it can harm you, and what you can do to protect yourself. A vast majority of people have some type of social media which the use daily various reasons. The next time you log in to your accounts, you can enjoy yourself using it but don't over look the danger that can pose on yourself.

V. Recommendation

       I recommend that it is okay to engaged ourselves in social networking sites but first we should know hot to use it properly like using it in a short time and use it only when you have important thing to find or to do. Consequently, we should be aware about the good and bad effect of social networks.

MAHAL KO O MAHAL AKO?

   

   Paano kung dumating sa punto ng iyong buhay na pipili ka ng iyong mamahalin? Sino kaya ang pipiliin mo? Yung taong pinapangarap mo o yung taong kumakatok sa puso mo? Sino nga ba?

   Nagtanong-tanong ako sa mga tao kung paano sa kanila ito nangyari? Sino ba ang pipiliin nila? Yung taong mahal nila pero hindi naman sila mahal? O yung taong mahal sila pero hindi nila mahal?

    Karamihan sa naging sagot nila ay mas pipiliin nila yung taong kumakatok sa puso nila. Simple lang ang naging dahilan nilang lahat ito ay dahil madali lang naman daw magmahal ng isang taong nagmamahal sayo. Mapag-aaralan naman nating silang mahalin. Para din sa kanila na mas mahirap daw kasi na tayo yung nagmamahal sa isang tao pero wala naming bumabalik na pagmamahal para sa atin galling sa taong mahal natin. Pare-pareho ang nakuha kong sagot sa kanila. Sa kabilang dako, may mga tao namang pinipili ang taong mahal nila. Simple lang din ang naging dahilan. Ang love parang life hindi lang daw ito puro sarap kailangan mo rin maghirap para makuha yung gusto mo o yung pinapangarap mo tao man yan o bagay. Kasi kung pipiliin mo daw yung taong nagmamahal sayo pero hindi mo naman mahal parang niloloko mo lang daw yung tao pati yung sarili mo dahil nga iniisip niya na mahal mo siya pero hindi naman talaga. Mahirap daw kasi sabihin na matututunan din natin silang mahalin pero ang totoo deep inside nasasaktan ka.Mas pipiliin nila ang taong mahal nila dahil mas masaya sila kapag kasama nila ang taong nagbibigay ligaya at inspirasyon sa buhay nila.

   Para sa aking sariling opinion, Mas pipiliin ko yung taong mahal ko kahit na hindi ako mahal. Alam ko masakit. Pero diba nga matututunan din nila tayong mahalin basta ipaglaban mo na sincere ka talaga sa love mo para sa kanya. Dahil kung hindi, wala ka na talagang pag-asa para sa taong pinapangarap mo. Tama nga ang sabi nila, dapat matuto tayong paghirapan kung anong bagay o tao ang gusto nating makuha. At matuto tayong ipaglaban ang isang taong mahal natin. Dahil hindi mo naman makukuha ang gusto mo kung wala kang ginagawang effort para makuha ito.

    Piliin natin kung anong magpapaligaya at magpapasaya sa atin kaysa naman piliin natin yung taong pinipiliit nating mahalin. We have to fight for the one we love. Work for what we want. Piliin mo yung taong mahal mo kasi kahit na saktan ka niya, kahit ilang ulit ka niyang itulak palayo, ikaw pa rin ang pipiliin niya dahil alam niya na sayo lang siya sasaya. Tandaan lang natin ito. Loving someone who doesn’t love us is like watching a star, you know you can never reach but you just have to keep on trying. Why not? Stars can fall, right? Pero nasa inyo pa rin kung sino ba talaga ang pipiliin niyo. MAHAL MO O MAHAL KA? 

PNoy Term Extension

   Are we aware of the issue about changing some part of the constitution so that President Aquino will have a term extension? How many of us agree, disagree or don’t care about the issue? And what are their reasons.

   Based on people I interviewed, most of them agree but some of the bet to disagree while others don’t care about it. Those who agree they fall into same reason it is because PNoy proved himself that he’s worth of it and para maipagpatuloy niya pa ang mga magagandang nagawa niya sa bansa katulad ng pagpapaayos ng mga daan,kalsada,tulay at mga gusali at iba pa. They agree also because based daw sa 5^th SONA of PNoy marami naman siyang na accomplished and kung titignan daw natin noon marami tayong problema pero nung term na ni President Aquino unti-unti nang na solusyunan ang ibang problem ng ating bansa. Pero kung napaunlad na ni PNoy ang bansa bakit patuloy pa rin ang ibang tao sa pagbatikos sa ating Pangulo? Followed up question ko sa kanila. And they answer that puro negative side naman parati ang nakikita agad ng mga tao kaya negative din yung dumadating sa kanila. I also agreed with their answers. Kahit sino naman kasing naging President ng Pilipinas puro negative yung nakikita natin kahit na maganda naman ang nagiging outcome ng ginagawang project ng Pangulo.

   On the other hand, Hindi mawawala ang mga taong disagree sa issue na ito. Like on those people who agree they also fall into same reason. They said na 6 years is enough to prove himself that he’s worth of it and to do his entire project. 6 years is enough to do his entire project in productive way. Kaya naman magawa yun lahat kung dadaanin sa pagtitiyaga. They also added na 2 years or 4 years mararamdaman naman daw natin kung progressive ba yung mga ginagawa niyang project so hindi na daw kailangan pang mag-extend. Someone says na they only just disagree to the term extension of the administration of PNoy. Pabor naman sila sa “Term Extension” pero sa next administration na lang daw ito sana magiging effective kung maaari. Kasi ang panget naman daw kung this administration magiging effective kasi parang sinasabi na gusto niyang mag remain in power like what Former President Marcos.

    However, they are also people who really don’t care or I should say that they are not aware about this issue. Based on their reason wala naman daw silang pakialam kung ano man mangyari sa issue na yan. Bastakami magtratrabaho para sa future ng mga anak naming at masisipag at magtitiyaga na lang daw sila. Dagdag pa nila na kahit ano naman daw ang mangyari magiging magulo at magulo pa rin ang mundo ng pulitika dahil halos lahat na gusting makaakyat sa pwesto.

    In my own opinion, Kung maganda naman ang hangarin ni PNoy its ok na magkaroon ng extension sa kanyang term. Pero I disagree talaga sa term extension kasi for me 6 years is enough to do everything and to prove yourself that you are worthy to be President and to be responsible. Sana sa 6 years na iyon siguro magagawa naman na ng isang president lahat, katulad na lang ng marami sa mga naging president ng Pilipinas except President Marcos na hindi na kinakailangan pa ng term extension dahil nagawa naman nila iyong part nila as a President ng isang bansa. Pero wala ganoon na talaga ngayon. Iyon lang ang masasabi ko.

    All of us, we should be aware of this issue kasi once na maipatupad ito tayo ang maaapektuhan. Kung ayaw mo ngayon pa lang? Sabihin mo na hindi yung kung kalian nakasulatnasabatas e doon palang tayo kikilos at magproprotesta ng magproprotesta. Huwag lang tayo basta nakatunganga. Tayo rin ang makikinabang dito.

    But President Aquino still undecided to extend his term. Presidential Spokesperson Edwin Lacierda said those accusing Aquino of trying to get another term through Charter Change have gone ahead of themselves and prejudged the President. "There are some who believe that the President should do one more term. The President has not made his mind on that. The President said in his interview that 'I consult the people,'" Lacierda said at a televised press briefing.

A BASHER BECOMES AN ULTIMATE FAN

    Yesterday, August 17, 2014(Sunday) the cast of Talk Back and Your Dead have their mall show in Lucky Chinatown Walk at 6 PM.

    After I heard the news, I said to my classmate to come with me to see my ultimate crush Joseph Marco one of the cast of TBYD which he played the role of Red and after that we will go home. My classmate replied and she said in kinikilig expression "But I want to see James Reid". I replied "Eeew. Panget naman non" But she force me to watch with her throughout the show.

    We went to Lucky Chinatown Walk at 4PM. Ang nasabi ko lang ay WOW. This will go to be a big event. Maraming tao agad. Were standing on the right side of the stage. Then after an hour lalong dumadagsa ang mga tao. I asked one person standing beside me. I ask her "Hi. Jadine fans right? Anong mayroon sa Jadine na wala sa ibang loveteam?" She answered "Yes. Bukod sa magaling umarte, gwapo at maganda sila, mabait, at bagay na bagay talaga".

    Its 7PM on my clock were still waiting for TBYD cast. The fans getting bored even if there was a music playing because the fans still hoping that they will come. Some others who waited for almost four hours already went home because based on people I asked they are hungry at hindi na nila kayang maghintay pa. While I really wants to go home too because Im tired of waiting. I’m just waiting for Joseph Marco.

    After waiting for almost four hours, they finally arrived. The show started at 8PM two hours late on its original time set because of the heavy traffic. The show was hosted by one of my favorite DJ in MOR101.9 DJ Jhaiho. But this was I observe, mas lalong dumami yung tao. The Lucky Chinatown Walk was filled by almost 100% fans of JaDine. Sobrang punong-puno. So that the security for the artists was full forced.

    Before the artists perform, the show started with a game which has a chance to win to have a picture taking with the cast. All of the people want to participate but unfortunately not all the people have the chance to join, that was exclusive for people who buy tickets for their upcoming movie.

    After the game.The First artist that will be performing was my favorite dancer/host Yassi Pressman who showed up a wonderful and sexy performance. She sings "Clarity". Second is my crush Joseph Marco where girls was goes wild and crazy when they saw him with his nice muscles which every girl loves abot him including me. Joseph sing "Buko". Joseph performance was HOT!!   Next is Nadine Lustre who perform her single one of the song in there movie Diary ng Panget but I don't know the title because I’m not a fan of her. But her voice was nice and lovely. Then, the most awaited part of the show was the appearance of James Reid. I don't know what the title of the song he sang last night. But he's really good in singing. Lastly JaDine have their last performance together at grabe ang fans. They roar like a lion.

    Now that I actually knew na hindi pala sila kagaya ng inaakala ko before which was the time of their movie Diary ng Panget. Sobrang bait nila sa Fans nila hindi lang ang Jadine even Joseph and Yassi they were kind to their fans. They made the night of every which one of us worth of waiting for long hours. Not like the other artists who have their Mall show on Lucky Chinatown who just go there to perform and promote. But the Cast of TBYD? They are different. They made my night.

    Kung dati Im one of the haters and bashers of JaDine but now I realize that I was wrong about them. Hindi pala panget ugali nila. Now I must say, Im a Proud JADINE! 😊💋 So I prefer you to watch their upcoming movie Talk Back and Your Dead showing in almost 100 cinemas nationwide on August 20, 2014(Wednesday).

In God's Time

    In life sometimes akala natin para sa atin na yung bagay na yun because it comes to our life and become part of it pero ang hindi natin alam minsan God just want us to realize na hindi madali. Like what happened to my friend.
    I have a friend named Pauline. This is how the story started. Pauline was the eldest out of 4 childrens of Mary-ann and Alfredo Bonrostro. Her mother was only an housewife at sumasideline lang minsan and her father was a truck driver. her two youngest sisters were still studying while her other sister stop studying because of financial problem and her sister decided to work to help her parents. Just like Pauline. Maybe Pauline is a undergraduate she has full of thoughts, have presence in mind and down to earth. Sometimes Pauline asked me "Paano kung mag-abroad na lang ako? Para kumita? Masaya kaya doon?" and I always answered "Ikaw bahala. Masaya mag-abroad pero sa tingin ko mahirap din" Sometimes she agree with me but I think sometimes napapaisip din siya. She always wish na sana makapag trabaho siya abroad para malaki kita. Sometimes we always talk about that thing. Sometimes when we talk we used another language so she will be practiced speaking other languages. Pauline keeps on praying na sana makapag-abroad ako. God is good. She received a news na may mura daw na ticket para makapunta sa macau para makapag trabaho. Siyempre di maiiwasang maging masaya. Di na niya sinayang ang opportunity dahil matagal na niyang pangarap ito. Mahaba-habang proseso and nilakad at inayos ni Pauline para makapunta doon. Mismong nangutang pa siya to make her dreams come true and to help her family na makaahon sa hirap ng buhay. Then after a month before his flight to Macau nagpadespidida pa siya for us. Finally,its July 2, 2014 at 12 noon is her flight. So Pauline was there in Macau. She thought na pagdating nila doon ok na ang lahat but there still a problem. Before ka pala makapag trabaho in Macau you must atleast 20 above. Previously this 2nd week of August we were able to talk using Skype. She tell us what she's feeling right now. Its really really hard pala daw talaga mag abroad. She thought na its now her time para maabot ang pangarap hindi pa pala. "Patikim pa lang pala ni God yun sakin" sabi niya. "Pinarealize niya muna pala sa akin na mahirap, akala lang natin masarap, dahil sa mga nakikita nating gumaganda ang buhay dahil nag abroad pero madami ka pa palang pagdadaanan para matupad ang pangarap." She added. So I asked her "Ano na ang gagawin mo?" She answered "Wala, I need to stay here. Kailangan kong maghanap ng work." But last night her mother said to me that "Kung hindi mo(reffering to Pauline) na talaga kaya bumalik ka na ng Pinas kaysa yung nasa ibang bansa ka kung hindi ka naman masaya. Hayaan mo na yung mga chismosa/o ganyan talaga ang buhay tama man o mali ang gawin mo, may masasabi at masasabi ang tao." Very well said. Pauline still hoping and believeing that she will make her dreams come true.
    Pauline said this "You have to be strong in your every decision you will make. Think wisely before doing it. And don't forget God to be with your every decisions because God is the only one who can help you in many ways especially if you were the only one in the fight." I agree with here Use your mind and heart in making your decisions in life because it will affect you happy ending. Once your decisions is wrong wala ng happy ending.
    Its hard to get all things what we want. We need first to sacrifice and do everything to make it true. But don't forget God to thank and to ask for help. Remember that through God we can make it happened no matter how hard it is.
